Data Scientist
Responsibilities:

The individual with work with the CTO team to enhance our existing geolocation products along with new complementary datasets. They would be instrumental on the design of new offerings and combining the various existing datasets in one concrete product. The main focus would be on applying statistical modeling to various structured and unstructured geolocation data for verifying the quality and integrity of the data, cleansing the data and extracting trading signals along with using them to calibrate existing forecasting models. It would be also required to write research reports describing our data and its applications. Part of the role will entail interaction with the business development team on client driven projects.

The individual should demonstrate strong ability to work on a fast paced environment, proven record of working with innovative product teams and be ambitious to participate in shaping the direction of the newly formed geolocation data industry.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience
  • Quantitative degree, preferably Ph.D. or Master's
  • Deep knowledge of statistical modeling using large datasets along with algebraic and multivariate calculus expertise
  • Experience with R, Python and SQL

Buy Side Sales
Responsibilities:

You will work directly with the management team to drive new sales across all products. The addressable client base is the institutional investor community in North America, primarily hedge fund and asset management clients.

You will be responsible for creating and managing the sales pipeline. This will involve managing the relationship with the client across all stages of the sales pipeline, from identifying an opportunity, to successfully closing a deal, to supporting the client on a post sales capacity.

You should demonstrate great comfort on using the phone to communicate with prospects, leads and clients. Should have the ability to work on a fast-paced environment and be ambitious to participate in shaping the direction of the newly formed geolocation data industry by creating new leads.

Senior Software Engineer
Responsibilities:

Advan is seeking a full-stack software engineer with experience in architecting and developing end-to-end solutions to join its New York based team.

Requirements:
